Responsibilities of scheme employers
Each employer is responsible for designating a named individual to act as the main point of contact (nominated representatives) regarding various aspects involved in administering the LGPS.
Please let us know immediately if a named nominated representative leaves your organisation and the name of the replacement representative and their responsibilities.
The LGA have produced HR and payroll guides which you may find helpful. As an employer, you should make sure that relevant people within your organisation are familiar with relevant guides, policies and statements.
